2:00 PM, Caldwell, NJ.  The kids sang and passed out “Treat-Tracts” (these are Gospel Tracts with candies) to children and adults to 6 different stores.  120 “Treat-Tracts” distributed to both adults and children in Caldwell.

We drove straight from Caldwell to Verona to share the light where the Guans live.  Barbara had an idea to go to Bloomfield Ave to distribute “Treat-Tracts” instead of waiting for the kids to go to her house.  140 “Treat-Tracts” distributed to adults and children as we walk our way to Bloomfield Ave.  As we go to different stores we would say “We want to reverse Halloween, instead of you giving us a treat, we’ll give you a treat instead!”  or the kids might say “Can we give you a blessing?”  The adults that were given “treat-tracts” by our  kids were in awe to have received a blessing at a time when most kids are receiving treats!  The best part of it is the eternal gift that they will receive upon reading, believing and receiving the Gospel! The Guan family did most of the work! What a blessing!

While walking along Bloomfield Ave, we had the opportunity to speak to 5 teenage girls.  I’ve asked them a question:  “This is a good time to ask this question because it is Halloween.  Do you know where you are going when you die?”  Some answered: “I don’t know” ;   “Either heaven or hell” ;  “I hope to heaven!”.  I told them  17 years ago, I was posed with the same question.  But I knew then where I was heading when I die: “to hell” realizing I was chief of all sinners!  I explained to them the HOPE that was given to me 17 years ago, they too can have.  It is a gift that they have to receive: eternal life through Jesus Christ.  At the end of our conversation,  all 5 girls prayed and trusted Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior, right along Bloomfield Ave in Verona on a Halloween afternoon!  Yes, kids can get saved on a Halloween because God, The Creator, The King of kings, The Lord of Lords, IS IN CONTROL!

When we return to Barbara’s home, Faith played 3 hymns as we worship along followed by a delicious Chinese meal!

Thank you so much Guan family for being servants of the Lord!

Ehpesians 6:10-18  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.   For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.   Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;   Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.   And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
